This trip departs from the Wood Bridge upstream of Trading Post Outfitters, portages around the Mongo Dam and finishes at the Trading Post. This is a modified 4 mile trip that we offer in cases of high water because this section of the river stays safe & fun for paddlers! (4 miles, approximately 1.5 hours)

If for any reason you need to change or cancel all or a portion of your canoe/kayak trip reservation, the following guidelines will apply:
* Boat deposits are NON-refundable.
* Boat deposits are transferable to another date within the same season if adjusted MORE than 3 days prior to your reservation.
* No refunds are issued for dropping boats or changing trips less than 72 hours prior to your trip date & time.
* No refunds are issued if you fail to show for your reservation.
* Late check-ins may jeopardize boat availability & bus seating.
*No credit or refunds will be issued once on the river for stopping short, or finishing early. Please keep in mind that heat, wind, cold,rain, insects, and ever-changing river conditions are part of the activity!
Trading Post Canoe has always placed safety as a priority. There are times that weather will pose us a challenge, but usually this is only temporary and doesn’t last long. Trading Post Canoe reserves the right to delay the start of your trip due to weather, including strong rain or storms.We try to keep these delays to a minimum, but safety is our first concern.
If inclement weather shows significant risk, Trading Post Canoe reserves the right to reschedule your trip or issue you a credit for a future paddle trip within the same season.
In the event that river conditions and water levels are deemed unable to operate a trip safely, Trading Post Canoe reserves
the right to substitute a similar trip, reschedule your trip, or issue you a credit for a future paddle trip within the same season.
- A $15 per boat deposit is required at time of reservation.
- Balance due will be automatically charged to your credit card 72 hours prior to your scheduled trip.
- This allows you to make changes to your reservations as needed before your balance is pulled.
- Boat deposits are NON-refundable.
- Boat deposits are transferable to another date within the same season if moved more than 3 days prior to your reservation.
